Under the hot Middle Eastern sun, key procurement was unfolding for Duqm Integrated Power and Water Project visiting Amiantit factory, manufacturer of various types of HDPE pipes and fittings, precast concrete pipes, culverts, manholes, covers, PVC and PP pipes and ducts, GPR tanks etc. Establishing employed quality procedures has been main purpose of factory visit besides introduction of production lines and general production management practices. Large diameter (2000 and 2500 mm) Weholite HDPE pipes with ballast collars will be supplied to the project, larger diameter used for seawater intake and smaller diameter with diffusers for brine discharge.
